Solid Mechanics Conferences

The Solid Mechanics (SolMech) Conferences are a series of biennial international conferences organized by the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IPPT PAN) since 1953.

These conferences serve as a platform to unite researchers from all over the world, providing a forum to exchange ideas and insights on the state of the art in the field of solid mechanics.

The SolMech conferences have consistently maintained high scientific standards. They traditionally include technical thematic sessions covering various aspects of solid mechanics, plenary lectures and keynote talks delivered by distinguished and internationally recognized researchers.
